LDS Church History Tour - Nauvoo

Sunday morning in front of the recently rebuilt Nauvoo temple.

Outside of Carthage Jail where the prophet Joseph Smith and his brother, Hyrum, were shot and killed.

The view of the new Nauvoo Temple from our hotel window. We did a session there early in the morning.

Sunset behind the statues of Joseph and Hyrum riding off to Carthage Jail (in front of the temple).

Jonah, Charlotte, and Jonah's parents: Dan and Nancy in front of a temple sun stone.

  1. Loved the pics of Nauvoo the Beautiful with Charlotte the Beautiful in the foreground! What a fascinating place...so full of history, then and now. It changed my life. Was so great to revisit it--vicariously/electronically--with the Barnes tour!
