The Birth of our First Child! Samuel!
At 9am, November 18th, Charlotte called to tell me that her water had broken. We checked into the American Fork Hospital at 11:15am. Charlotte had her birth totally unmedicated (WOW!) with the help of a midwife. He was born at 3:29pm, after only 6.5 hours of labor! Charlotte was amazing! Samuel Clark Barnes was born 6 pounds 10 ounces, with blonde hair, eyebrows and lashes. His eyes are rich, dark green. This video doesn't quite capture his cuteness, nor does it capture Charlotte's incredible strength. Hurray for the newest member of the Barnes Family!

SO ADORABLE! CHARLOTTE!??!! You are a mom! I can't believe it. I was just remembering the many times we just talked and only dreamed of things like this. And here you are! Love ya!
ReplyDeleteOh, Charlotte! I think I am in love! He is sooo adorable. And I could see the strength you had. Soo beautiful. Congrats. We celebrated my third child, Tyler's 11th b-day on Nov 17th. Brent is now 16, and I certainly remember the day he was born. How wonderful to have such great video of Samuel. I love you. Karen
