Bathtime Reading

After I filled Samuel's bath water, I went out to fetch him, but I couldn't find him running around as usual. I finally found him on the couch, reclining, reading aloud his Animal Sounds book. I took a ton of photos, because I thought he was so cute to crawl up there with a book and relax on the pillow. I love this guy!

Patting his tummy while he reads.
One of his favorite pastimes is to look out the door for dogs ("Bow-wow") and birds ("Dweet-dweet") and babies ("bay-bee" --always whispered) and cars ("brrrroom"). One of my favorite pasttimes is to keep him in these adorable dino PJ's all day. One of Jonah's favorite pastimes is to cut the hair above Samuel's ears so he doesn't look like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. He got a little carried away with our dull kitchen scissors this time...

Samuel discovered the volume buttons on the back of this and plays behind this more than in front of it!

Last week...before the baby dropped. Now I look smaller and can breathe better, but I certainly do ache!

  1. That animal sounds book was Dan's favorite when he was little! Of course, it didn't come in the board book edition back then. : ) Can you believe we still have the book?? Dan's mom made sure we got it.
