A birthday, a zoo, and our chickens

Danny turned 4! His birthday was on a Sunday, so he got to look so dapper on his special day.

 The Spit-Up Queen strikes again!

 Stand Flying with Daddy

Drilling sister's mouth... Perhaps he will become a dentist...

Danny's birthday Grabber Truck that he assembled himself! Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

This is how Samuel switches the laundry from the washer to the dryer.

Peter LOVES watching the bread machine first start stirring.

Danny occasionally wanders around taking pictures. Most of them are random, but I thought this one of chickens turned out really well. There are our five chickens: Buffy, Lucy, Ginger, Zanzey, and Shmarf.

Peter always naps with a book.

One of our greatest Family Home Evening games, invented by Samuel: Ring Daddy. We threw inner tubes from the top of the slide and tried to get them on his head and down his neck.

Painting with marbles in a box.

 FORT TIME!

Few things define childhood like eating spaghetti.

Hot summer afternoons = lollygagging on the rugs.

Checking out the new tiger exhibit being built.

Every once in a while we discover a new ares of the zoo, and this was an awesome discovery--the African Waterhole. Peter making a goofy face, in his pajamas, on a warthog. This picture portrays his true nature so well.

 Check out this huge elephant!

 Daniel conquered the lion!

HANNAH!!!!!!!!!

The birthday boy! Being four sure is great!
