Samuel turns Five!

 This was such a sweet moment. Hannah was crying on the sofa, and Danny put a blanket on her and opened "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and told her about the picture of the people riding on the boat on the chocolate river. 

 Yes. Simon Peter brought his apple into the bathtub.

 We built our first fire on Saturday morning. It lasted about four minutes. We need better firewood.

 This plate broke in half and they pasted it back together with stickers from Samuel's birthday present sticker book. Very clever. Not very durable. 

 We stayed up so late last night putting up our family history wall. We still need to add more to fill in the family tree and balance out the lopsidedness. We used cheap frames from Goodwill!

They played "Dump Truck" which involved Simon sitting on the table and the big boys tipping the table over and "dumping" him off. They all loved it and played it a long time.
